Description
Recent advances in neuroscience have provided physicians with important information regarding primary central nervous system lymphomas and related diseases. However, the prognosis of patients with primary central nervous system lymphomas remains unsatisfactory. Furthermore, it is often difficult to clinicopathologically differentiate between primary central nervous system lymphomas and other brain lesions, such as malignant gliomas, infarctions, metastatic brain tumors, demyelinating diseases, and inflammatory diseases. A variety of primary central nervous system lymphomas and related diseases have also been highlighted in recent years.
This book presents a comprehensive description of a diagnostic and therapeutic aid for primary central nervous system lymphomas and related diseases. The 22 chapters detail the biology, pathology, and treatment of primary central nervous system lymphomas. Chapters 1-8 provide basic information on the biology of primary central nervous system lymphomas, and Chapters 9-18 are devoted to the basic pathology of primary central nervous system lymphomas and related diseases. The epidemiology, neuroimaging, and treatments of primary central nervous system lymphomas are discussed in Chapters 19-22.
Pathologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, radiologists, and other physicians will find this book of great benefit in diagnosing and combating dangerous tumors, primary central nervous system lymphomas, and related diseases.

Description
Many great urban places in Asia have lost or are losing their unique sense of place. Chaotically mixed, vibrant “public places” with their special historic and cultural flavors, and local living environments are being replaced by cityscapes in modern urban patterns with little variation across the world.
Traditional urban places in Asia are sometimes regarded as outdated, poor, overcrowded, dirty, and not aesthetically beautiful. However, many of them have been well used and favored by their residents, merchants, and visitors over decades or centuries. It is important to preserve these places for future generations, and to adapt them to the modern world by making incremental improvements.
From West Asia to the Far East, 20 cities and urban districts were selected for inclusion in this book. The unique sense of place of each “great urban place” has been captured beautifully by the author with drawings, written descriptions and comparative scales of maps.
The book discusses the conditions that help create great urban places in Asia and the desirable direction for future improvement and/or redevelopment of urban centers.
